2008 services and rates

Float Trips (Two anglers)
Full-day float trip for two fishermen per boat with lunch and beverages provided on the Madison, Yellowstone, Gallatin, Stillwater, Bighorn or Jefferson rivers.
Cost: $425 all inclusive for up to two anglers
Big Hole, Beaverhead and Missouri Trips Available for an additional $50.



Extended Float Trips (Two anglers)
Spend two days fly fishing some of Montana's finest trout waters. One night double occupancy included with two days guided fihsing. Addittional lodging, meals, license and tackle extra. Big Hole, Beaverhead, Missouri or Bighorn Rivers. Cost: $895

Walk and Wade Trips
Full Day Walk & Wade Trips (8 hours)
Full day trips include your guide, instruction, deli style lunch and beverages. This is a great way to pick up pointers or learn the basic skills of flyfishing. Your guide will be able to devote his undivided attention to improving your angling skills on a walk and wade fishing trip. You will be on the water for approximately 8 hours on all full day trips.
1 Angler  - $375
2 Anglers - $425
3 Anglers - $450


Half-Day Walk & Wade Trips (4 hours)
Half day trips include your guide, instruction, and beverages. Half day trips are great for anglers with a limited time frame or anglers who have never tried flyfishing before. Your guide will be by your side for the trip and they can provide you with any instruction, fly selection and other assistance you may need. Half day trips are on the water for approximately 4 hours.
1 Angler -  $315
2 Anglers - $350
3 Anglers - $375



Spring Creeks and Private Waters
Montana Troutfitters offers several private access waters to provide some seclusion for your Big Sky Country fishing experience.

DePuy Spring Creek - One of the world's premier spring creek fisheries! Rod reservations made for Montana Troutfitters clients.

MZ Ranch - Two spring creeks, Ben Hart and Thompson, and a 2 mile section of the East Gallatin on a private ranch in the Gallatin Valley.

Willow Creek - offers superb fishing in a picturesque canyon below Harrison Reservoir. Located on a private ranch near Three Forks, Montana, the creek has a good population of 10- to 14-inch rainbows and brown trout, and provides excellent nymph and dry fly fishing.

Spring Creeks may be reserved for full day or half-day trips. Prices and availability are dependenton property owners' discretion. Additional fees: $75 to $125 per rod. Private waters located on a working dude ranch bordering a wilderness area are also subject to a rod fee.



Gratuities
Please Note: Gratuities for all guided trips are not included in the prices listed above. Our guides work hard to ensure a wonderful outdoor experience. If you would like some guidance in determining a gratuity, we would be glad to help.


Trip Deposits
A $100 deposit per day is required to reserve your trip. Cancellations made within 30 days will be given a 50% refund. VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or a personal check are accepted.

If you'd like to make your deposit Online through our secure Pay Pal shopping cart, just click on the button. A deposit of $100 per boat, per day is required. Just change the "Quantity" of deposits you need to reflect the number of boats and/or number of days.



Equipment Needed
An equipment list will be provided upon confirmation of your trip. Tackle and licenses are not included in the trip price. However, both can be purchased at our shop. We also carry a complete selection of quality fly fishing tackle and a full array of the most effective local fly patterns. If you prefer to tie your own flies, you may request a list of effective patterns to tie during your visit. We also offer a fly tying bench at the shop.


Rental, Demo Gear
Montana Troutfitters has a fine selection of rods, reels, wading boats, waders, float tubes and fins for rental or demonstration purposes. All rental or demonstration costs will be applied to the purchase price of each trip. Check with us for availability and prices.
