Fishing Report: The fishing on the Missouri has still been a bit hit or miss, some days great, other's marginal, and some down right tough! But hey, that's fishing. The PMD's are long gone, the only hatches to speak of are caddis late late at night, and some tricos although fish don't seem to be keying in on the tricos for whatever reason. The flows were bumped up a little bit, might have thrown things off, definitely spit out some weeds according to most reports. But that's steadying out now, look for cooler weather to help the fishing really start to pick up on terrestrials - think ant's and hoppers on the Missouri over the next few weeks. Most everyone has been up higher, so don't be surprised if things down below Craig start picking up in late August and September over here. Fish are in pretty decent shape still as water temps are beginning to cool already, expect a good fall of streamer fishing up here this year, but hell it's going to be a great fall statewide. Still waiting for the terrestrial fishing to pick up, if we hear that it's getting better we'll let you know.
