Salmon Fly Watch 2017

It's that time of the year folks! Big bugs are in our near future and if you enjoy throwing cat puke to hungry trout you're in for a great time! Salmon fly's have been hatching over on the Henry's Fork. Once they start on the Henry's it is time to look to the Fire Hole and Madison Rivers in the park. Johnny Mac fished the park this weekend and saw a few adults on the Fire Hole, and with temps in the park right around 65 degrees now is the time to be in there. When they pop you'll have two miles of the Madison below the confluence, Fire Hole Canyon, and two-ish miles above the canyon where you can get in on the action. Stay tuned for more updates as the hatch progresses and moves to other rivers
