Ridley Brandmayr is an 18-year-old Bozeman, Montana native with a passion for fly fishing. He's been hooked on fly fishing since the age of 6 years old, but his fate was sealed when at the age of 8 his dad gave him his first fly rod. From then on, Ridley has spent most of his life on the Madison, Big Horn, Yellowstone, Missouri and many of Montana's other rivers. He started tying his own flies at the ripe old age of 7 and hasn't stopped since. He's explored and fished all across the Montana wilderness and seen many of its rivers and streams. Ridley has also cast his line in plenty of other states across the US and even ventured into foreign waters in multiple countries. Even after losing his right hand in 2017, he continues to tie flies and obsessively fly fish. Now, at 18, Ridley's still living the dream, chasing trout and crafting flies like it's second nature and fishing all year 'round. With each new river he explores and every fly he ties, Ridley is carving out his own unique path in the world of fly fishing.
