Colter Anderson

Colter began stalking the banks at the ripe age of four with his father in Wyoming. His passion sparked his guiding career with the Platte River Fly Shop on the North Platte River in Casper, Wyoming. In 2000 he moved to Bozeman Montana, to attend Montana State University. Colter now splits time between the river and internet ventures, although we suspect he has better fishing skills than computer skills... Colter also spends a fair number of days dotting around the Pacific Northwest in search of Steelhead. When he's not "working" you can likely find him fishing the waters around Bozeman and he loves that on any given day you have the chance of catching trout on dry’s, nymphs and streamers. He is affectionaly known as "The man with a Golden Shirt."

Fishing has been a part of Colter's life for over twenty years, and he's always excited to teach anglers and show them a few nice fish or share his other passion - swinging around a Spey rod!
