Nathan Anderson

Nathan grew up in MInnesota where he developed a passion for the outdoors and  being on the water at an early age. His first real river fishing experiences were on the upper Mississippi and St.Croix rivers. He spent much of his youth fishing, canoeing, climbing, and biking around Minnesota and out west on summer trips. In 1986 he moved to Bozeman and went to Montana State University to study Microbiology. Once in Bozeman he fell in with the wrong crowd and spent most of his time fishing, running rivers, skiing, mountain biking and generally seeking adventure all over Montana, Idaho and Wyoming. He has been fly fishing for close to 40 years and as a long time river rat knows the surrounding rivers and their rhythms as well as anyone. Nathan enjoys sharing his knowledge of the surrounding area's fishing, rivers, mountains, history, flora and fauna and truly enjoys taking people out to fish on the rivers whatever their skill level and experience might be. There is no place he'd rather be than on the river. He is also a musician and plays guitar in the local Bozeman scene.
