Tony Nahorny

Tony Nahorny calls Columbus, Nebraska home, where he spent his childhood chasing bass, bluegills and other warm water species with a fly rod. But after following his passion for fishing full time in the early 2000's, he's been calling Montana his home where he fishes and hunts his brains out. In addition to fly fishing for trout and steelhead, Tony also spends a fair bit of time in the mountains going after Elk and other critters. Tony has been a good friend of ours at Montana Troutfitters and we've shared more than a few days on the river with him over the years slinging streamers for big brown trout and looking for trout in the shallows sipping dries. Tony has a knack for catching fish and knows how to transfer that knowledge in a laid back manner. Tony is also a skilled oarsman and handles some of our "Run & Gun" whitewater fishing trips on rivers like the Stillwater and Boulder.

He's a big man with a big heart and a passion for fishing, any day on the river with Tony is a good one.
