A partial fishing closure is in place for the Big Hole River. As of September 19, the fishing closure is lifted for the area between the Dickie Bridge Recreation Site (Section 3) to the Tony Schoonen Fishing Access Site (also known as Notch Bottom, Section 4). A full fishing closure remains in place for the rest of the Big Hole River, upstream and downstream of these sections.
Flows are extremely low this time of year. Consider fishing other water. Keep them wet and net fish quickly.
