Montana Troutfitters is Bozeman’s oldest fly fishing shop Since 1978

Jul 26, 2024

Hoot-owl restrictions have been put in place on the entire Big Hole to the confluence with the Beaverhead. Fishing is closed daily from 2pm-Midnight.

If you find yourself out there early, prospecting with a hopper-dropper will consistently produce. Streamer fishing can be good with bigger stuff like dungeons and smaller flashy patterns. PMD and caddis action on top.
